Dominating the Manchester music scene, The Navettes have played in some of Manchester's most acclaimed venues such as Club Academy, Soundcontrol, Gorilla and the O2 Ritz; showcasing their energetic and infectiously catchy songs. Including a tour which extended through both the north and south poles of England.
Having been recently featured as participants in Yamaha’s brand new Revstar guitar campaign, The Navettes have used this to take their sound to the next level showcasing the guitar and their sound over their gig filled summer.
Following their last Autumn tour playing to full rooms across the UK including a SOLD OUT headline show in their hometown. While currently working on their debut release, the dreamy Manchester main-stays are sure to have a BIG year ahead.
Bryony Williams used to make up half of the Black Country duo, Field Harmonics before focusing on her own agenda as a solo-artist.
Her music is a mash-up of indie-rock with bright, warm guitar tones that give her music a big dose of electronica to create an alt-americana mirage. Her up-front honest lyrics break down a wall and expose her on-going strengths and vulnerabilities.
«How I'm influenced changes on a weekly basis. I'm constantly listening to music which can either be a mass pool full of women musicians (Chastity Belt, Jen Cloher, Courtney Barnett, Marika Hackman) or listening to 'ooga boo' by Cher on repeat.»
Bryony's music intake is as eclectic as the music she creates, everything she listens to inspires some spark of experimentation and is reflected in her songs. She puts herself forward for new and weird experiences and uses it to her advantage and turns it into something magical, raw and personal.
As well as music, Bryony is the founder the female collective 'GRRRL GROANNN!!!' inspired by Riot Grrrl, which explains her main drive in music to make audiences think twice about the female artist they're listening to.
A 4 piece indie rock band from Shrewsbury who are already showing great potential and becoming favourites of the Birmingham live scene. Don't miss these guys!
