I can now confirm that the Council have guaranteed that the consultation will still consider responses after the meeting until Monday 16th July.
* Please note, the meeting venue has a maximum capacity of 120 people and this limit will be strictly observed due to safety regulations.*
It has recently been confirmed that Persimmon Homes have entered into an agreement with Dudley Council and Birmingham Metropolitan College over the development of the Longlands site.
Persimmon have submitted a planning application to Dudley Council for permission to build 62 homes on the old school site with vehicular access from Bowling Green Road. Full details of the application can be found at Dudley Council's website here: dudley.gov.uk/resident/planning
. The application reference number is P18/0739.
I have organised a public meeting, at which local residents can hear about the plans directly from the developers themselves and discuss them with local people. The meeting will take place at 5pm on Friday 13th July in the Wollaston Suite at Stourbridge Town Hall. I encourage residents to come to this meeting, as well as to take part in the consultation.
