One of the most loved films of all time… Mary Poppins!
When Jane and Michael, the children of the wealthy and uptight Banks family, are faced with the prospect of a new nanny, they are pleasantly surprised by the arrival of the magical Mary Poppins. Embarking on a series of fantastical adventures with Mary and her Cockney performer friend, Bert, the siblings try to pass on some of their nanny's sunny attitude to their preoccupied parents.
Taking place between 16th and 22nd July, nine films will be shown in total, all of which will be free for the general public to attend.
The line-up was chosen by the public, with nearly 2,000 people voting online for their favourite modern or classic film.
A limited number of seat pads and bean bags will be available during the Film Festival, provided by Brindleyplace. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their own picnic blankets and arrive early to secure the best seating places.
