Sound Medicine- Live Sound Healing – A Tama-Do Sound Harmonization with Shervin Boloorian
Sound healing, live music and meditation to nourish the body, release emotion, clear the mind and expand consciousness.
Be guided through a relaxing multi-instrumental sound healing journey connecting nature’s elements; through didgeridoo, Shamanic drums, guitar, meditation chimes, native flute, voice, Tibetan signing bowls, percussion and sacred chants in ancient languages plus more.
The workshop will begin with a short interactive voice exercise and an opening of group mantra, then you will lay back and dive into a sensory-rich world of pure sound vibration from a wide range of natural acoustic instruments.
Shervin Boloorian is Founder of Sound Healing Bali and a certified Tama-Do sound and color therapist. Shervin is also the CoFounder of Bali Sound Healers Collective, the world’s first community of sound healers. Shervin earned his professional credentials from Fabien Maman’s Tama-Do “Way of the Soul” Academy (started in 1988), holds a Masters Degree, is trained in urban shamanism, and is a passionate lifelong vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumental musician.
Trained in several sound healing techniques, including Tama-Do tuning forks on acupuncture point therapy, musical spine, color healing, and acoustic sound harmonisations with musical instruments (Sound Medicine), Shervin supports each individual’s ‘inner calling’. He aims to replace tension with inspiration; open the heart, positively engage with community and coworkers, and reintegrate with loved ones.
As Asia's premier Tama-Do sound therapist, Shervin combines extensive sound therapy knowledge with a variety of live sacred sound event experiences as leader of the acclaimed 'Bali Sound Healers Collective'. In Bali, where he is based, he is reputed as one of the community's most popular and talented multi-instrumentalists and singers in residence. In 2012, he spearheaded a movement to make sound therapy part of the town of Ubud's live music culture; successfully uniting local sacred musicians with visiting music artists, and has raised money for local courses. He continues to share multiple sound healing modalities including: Bowl Meditations, Indigenous Sounds, Spirit Night: World Sacred Chants and Sound Healing, Connect to the Beloved: Sufi Sacred Sounds and Movement, Yin/Restorative Yoga and Live Music, and Sound Medicine: Tama-Do Sound Harmonisations. Shervin is also a celebrated vocalist and recording artist, provides deeply nourishing TCM and sound energy one on one sessions, and is a trained Chi Gong instructor.
